Macedonian IT Company Seavus Opens Representative Office in Silicon Valley

SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 20 (SeeNews) – Macedonian application software developer Seavus DOO said on Thursday it opened a representative office in Silicon Valley, its third in the U.S.

“Seavus is the first Macedonian company to open a representative office in the heart of the IT undustry, in Silicon Valley,” a company statement quoted Seavus's sales manager Koca Bosku as saying.

Seavus has representative offices in New York and Boston.

Seavus also said talks on signing cooperation contracts with US businessmen are in an advanced stage.

The company is currently building an IT park in downtown Skopje that will employ up to 1,500 professionals. Spreading over an area of 30,000 square metres, the park will comprise a training and a research centre and a support incubator for IT small companies.

Seavus (www.seavus.com), a software consulting and development corporation is headquatered in Sweden. It has research and development centres in Macedonia, Serbia and Belarus, and selling centres in the U.S., Britain, The Netherlands and Latvia. The company employs a total of 450 people.
