Macedonian Holding Company Fersped Jan-Sept Prelim Net Profit Falls 15.9% - Table

SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 2 (SeeNews) – Macedonian holding company Fersped AD reported on Monday a 15.9% annual drop to 143.1 million denars ($3.5 million/2.3 million euro) in its preliminary net profit for the first nine months of 2009.

The shares of Fersped (www.fersped.com.mk) closed flat at 92,000 denars on Monday.

Fersped's core business is international and inland forwarding and warehousing. It owns the Skovin winery, the five-star Aleksandar Palace hotel in the capital, Skopje, and three smaller hotels, a savings institution and a brokerage firm. The company also controls the Macedonian Lottery and is the authorised distributor of IBM products in Macedonia.
