Macedonian food co Vitaminka 9-mo net profit doubles

November 8 (SeeNews) - Macedonian food company Vitaminka [MSE:VITA] said on Thursday its net profit doubled to 62.9 million denars ($1.3 million/1.0 million euro) in the first nine months of 2012 from 31.3 million denars a year ago.

The company’s operating income rose 4.0% on the year to 1.05 billion denars in the first nine months, while operating costs decreased by 1.0% to 975.9 million denars, Vitaminka said in a filing with the Macedonian Stock Exchange.

Vitaminka, based in the city of Prilep, in central Macedonia, specialises in food processing.
