Macedonian Construction Co Granit 9-mo Prelim Pre-Tax Profit Rises 66.2% - Table

October 31 (SeeNews) - Granit AD Skopje, a leading Macedonian construction company, said on Friday its preliminary pre-tax profit in the nine months through September rose by 66.2% to 247.19 million denars ($5.14 million/4.03 million euro).

“The pre-tax profit's increase resulted mainly from a 50.56% annual rise in sales revenue”, Granit said in a statement sent to the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), where the company is listed.

Following are details from Granit's income statement (in million of denars):

Granit is one of the most liquid companies on the MSE and a component of the blue-chip MBI index. Its stock closed at 705 denars on Thursday, 0.7% up from a day earlier. Financial statement was released before trading hours on Friday.
