November 2 (SeeNews) - Macedonian construction company Beton Skopje AD said on Monday its preliminary pre-tax profit fell by an annual 4.3% to 22.5 million denars ($544,135/366,770 euro) through September.

Following are figures from Beton's income statement sent to the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) (in millions of denars):

Beton shares, a component of MSE's blue-chip MBI 10 index, closed flat at 14,486 denars on Monday.

Beton (www.beton.com.mk ) has a staff of some 1,300 and, despite the spin-off of several units, remains one of the largest construction firms in the southeast European country of two million people.
