The government plans to establish a public-private partnership or to find a concessionaire for the implementation of the project, the transport ministry said in a statement made available to SeeNews on Thursday.

The project will include financing, designing, construction, managing and maintenance of the water airport.

Letters of interest should be sent in by December 10.

The city of Ohrid and the lake of the same name are declared as Cultural and Natural World Heritage Sites by UNESCO and are the most visited tourist sites in the country.
