November 17 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Business sentiment index for the construction sectors fell in the third quarter, as managers perceived the Business climate in the country to be much worse than in the same period last year, the Statistics Office said on Tuesday.
The third-quarter Business sentiment indicator (BSI), based on expectations of managers in the construction sector, fell by 18.3 points from the same period of 2008, and was 2.2% down from the previous quarter, Statistics Office data showed.
The most limiting factors for construction managers in the first quarter were lack of demand (25.1%), shortage of equipment (13.5%) and increased costs (12.8%), the statement said.
The Statistics Office releases monthly data for the BSI in the manufacturing industry, and quarterly data for the BSI in the construction and retail sectors.
