Macedonia plans to build Kicevo-Ohrid motorway

The ministry provided neither a timeframe nor a cost estimate for the project in a statement posted on its website over the weekend.

The Sveti Naum monastery is located some 30 kilometres south of Ohrid.

The planned construction of two other motorway sections - between Miladinovci and Stip section, which is expected to start in the first quarter of 2013, and between Stip and Kocani - will be financed with loans from China’s Ex-Im Bank, the ministry said in the same statement.
