Macedonia performs best in SEE on ease of doing business - World Bank

SKOPJE (Macedonia), October 23 (SeeNews) – Macedonia ranks highest among the countries in Southeast Europe (SEE) in terms of reforms aimed at doing business easier, the World Bank said on Tuesday.

Macedonia was 23rd, Slovenia took the 35th place, Montenegro was 51st, Bulgaria occupied the 66th position, Romania was ranked 72nd, the World Bank said in its Doing Business 2013 report covering 185 economies.

Macedonia ranked fifth among the countries where it is easiest to start business.
