SKOPJE (Macedonia), September 9 (SeeNews) – Following are some of the main stories in the online versions of Macedonian media on Wednesday morning. SeeNews has not verified these reports and cannot vouch for their accuracy.
- Macedonia's Constitutional Court is due to examine on Wednesday the lawfulness of the tender for the award of a 10-year digital television license called earlier this year by the Agency for Electronic Communications. The tender was won by Telekom Slovenije, owner of Macedonian ISP On.net and local wireless operator Cosmofon, which is expected to launch the service this autumn.
- The salvaging of the Ilinden boat that sank in lake Ohrid on Saturday, killing 15 Bulgarian tourists, is expected to start on Wednesday, if weather conditions permit. Croatian experts will most probably be in charge of the operation.
- The Macedonian government said it will allocate 250-450 million denars per year to subsidise electricity supply to the country's poorest households, starting from mid-2010.
