UTRINSKI VESNIK

- Turkish businessmen that attended the Macedonian-Turkish business forum in Skopje on Thursday said they are interested in investing in Macedonia’s construction energy and mining sector but are still probing the ground.

- The CEO of Turkish airport operator TAV, Sani Sener, said the latest delay in the modernization of two Macedonian airports would be the last one, and their reconstruction under the concession deal signed with the government in Skopje would finally start on March 1.

- Exports of agricultural produce from Macedonia's eastern Strumica region fell my 10 % on the year in the first eight months of 2009 due to the global economic crisis.

VECER

- Nine Macedonian banks signed an agreement with the state-run Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion (MBDP) for offering credits to local small and medium-sized businesses at an interest rate of 6%. The funds will provided from a 100 million euro credit line from the European Investment Bank.
