UTRINSKI VESNIK

- All food business operators in Macedonia, which fail to meet the HACCP standards for food safety by January 1, will be closed, the country’s Health Minister Bujar Osmani said. So far, the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standard has been implemented by some 600 food business operators, out of a total of 16,000, whilst over 3,000 are in the process of implementation.

- Tourists spent some 135,000 overnights on the Dojran lakeside, in southeastern Macedonia, during the summer season, 12.5% up from last year, municipal authorities said.
