- Macedonian insurer Vardar Osiguruvanje, majority-owned by Slovenia’s Triglav Group, increased its market share to 25.2% at the end of June, up 1.6% from a year earlier, Vardar’s Director General Trajce Latinovski said.

- Macedonia and Bulgaria need to step up their cooperation for the construction of regional Corridor X, the press office of the Macedonian parliament’s said, quoting the speakers of the legislatures in Skopje and Sofia, Trajko Veljanovski and Cecka Cacheva, who met on the sidelines of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Geneva.

- The home municipality of tourist resort Ohrid said it collected 15.2 million denars, or some 250,000 euro, in tourist taxes through September, 1.1% up from a year earlier.
