- Macedonia's newly set-up airline MAT Airways has raised 2.0 million euro in a capital increase, the Central Registry said. The owner of the airline, Serbian tourism company Kon Tiki Travel, said recently that it will operate charter flights to the most attractive world tourist destinations with its own aircraft.

DNEVNIK

- Macedonia starts free vaccination against swine flu for all citizens aged over 18 as of Monday, the Health Ministry said.


- Macedonian farmers are not willing to insure their crops, which are exposed to frequent natural disasters and climate-related damages, the country’s insurance companies said. Although the government has doubled the subsidies for the insurance of primary agricultural production this year, the farmers from the southeast region of Strumica hardly showed any interest in using this advantage, the daily said.
