Macedonia Launches DTH Total TV Platform

Total TV is a cable TV service via satellite. In Macedonia, it offers over 50 most popular TV channels in four packages and 200 “free to air” channels, Total TV Macedonia’s director Kiril Trendafilov told a news conference.

The company will also introduce High Definition (HD) and Video-on-Demand (VoD) services as of the first half of 2010, it said in a statement distributed to journalists.

Total TV DTH platform that was launched in Serbia in 2006 is also available in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. It is a regional DTH platform owned by London-based private equity investment firm Mid Europa Partners and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
