LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 20 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip SBITOP index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell 0.57% to 856.96 points on Friday, hit by a drop in the share prices of port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] and chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG], bourse data showed.
Luka Koper’s shares lost 3.12% to 24.8 euro, while Cinkarna Celje’s shares closed at 183.0 euro, down 1.35%.
None of the blue chips closed in positive territory on Friday. LJSE's total daily trading turnover totalled 1.57 million euro ($1.7 million).
Trading in the shares of pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] formed the largest portion of LJSE's turnover on Friday, of 784,270 euro.
