November 26 (SeeNews) - IT service provider Lufthansa Industry Solutions, a subsidiary of Germany's Lufthansa Group, said it plans to double the number of employees at its Albanian unit in the next two years.
The company intends to further cooperate with universities in Albania in order to expand its activity in the country, the managing director of Lufthansa Industry Solutions, Bernd Appel, said during an online meeting with Albania's prime minister Edi Rama, according to a press release issued by the prime minister's office earlier this week.
Lufthansa Industry Solutions currently employs approximately 200 people in Albania.
Lufthansa Industry Solutions has been present in Albania since April 2019, when it acquired Albanian IT service provider Applications Management Development (ADM).
