Ljubljana stock indices rise in lower turnover

April 29 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed up on Monday, bourse data showed.

The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,427.17 points, up 0.25%, while the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also edged up 0.24% to 1,931.46 points, LJSE data showed.

Chemicals maker Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] paced the blue-chip gainers, closing up 3.33%, to 21.70 euro.

Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] generated the highest single turnover on the bourse on Monday, of 373,692 euro. NLB closed flat at 104.0 euro.

Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell 0.73% to 68.0 euro.

Daily regulated market turnover came in at 680,548 euro ($729,584) on Monday, down from 4.6 million euro on Friday.
