Ljubljana stock indices rise in higher turnover

May 21 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed up on Tuesday, bourse data showed.

The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,497.76 points, up 0.52%, while the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also went up 0.52% to 2,026.80 points, LJSE data showed.

Energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] paced the blue-chip gainers, closing up 2.50%, to 28.70 euro.

Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] generated the highest single turnover on the bourse on Tuesday, of 934,079 euro. NLB closed up 0.43% at 117.0 euro.

Daily regulated market turnover came in at 5.1 million euro ($5.5 million) on Tuesday, boosted by a 1.7 million euro block deal with shares in Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], up from 2.3 million euro on Monday.
