October 4 (SeeNews) - Each of the two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) gained 1.87% on Tuesday, as no blue chip company closed lower, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended the trading session at 969.83 points, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, closed at 1,213.84 points on Tuesday, LJSE data showed.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] gained the most among the blue chips - 3.32%. Its shares closed at 49.80 euro. Fuel and petroleum refining Petrol [LJE:PETG] was another major winner, with shares rising 3.11% to 365 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover increased to 1.7 million euro ($1.69 million) on Tuesday, compared with 1.2 million euro generated on Monday.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded company on the bourse on Tuesday, accounting for a turnover of 657,751 euro. Krka's shares closed up 2.09% at 87.80 euro.
