September 4 (SeeNews) - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) said it will drop brewer Pivovarna Lasko from its blue-chip SBITOP index.
No changes were made to the bourse's broader 15-share SBI20 index following a regular semi-annual review of its two indices, the LJSE said in a statement posted on its website on Thursday.
No further details were immediately available.
The LJSE carries out periodic index reviews twice a year, on March 1 and September 1.
Pivovarna Lasko, which will remain a SBI20 component, will not be replaced in the blue chip index which will have seven components once the two indices are first calculated and published according to the new composition on 1 October 2009.
The SBITOP fell 0.74% to 1,017.76 points and the SBI20 dropped 0.46% to 4,127.70 points on Thursday.
