Ljubljana share indices end week up, Petrol leads gainers

February 9 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed up on Friday, amid a lower turnover, bourse data showed.

The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,386.84 points, up 1.61%. The SBITOP TR index, which tracks dividend distribution, also went up 1.61%, to 1,864.83 points, LJSE data showed.

Energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] led the gainers among the blue chips as its share price grew 5.88% to 27.0 euro.

Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded company on the bourse on Friday, generating a turnover of 425,392 euro.

Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to 1.9 million euro ($2.0 million) on Friday, down from 2.9 million euro on Wednesday. The Ljubljana Stock Exchange was closed on Thursday due to a public holiday.
