Ljubljana share indices decline, Cinkarna Celje paces losers

February 20 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed Tuesday's trading session in loss, with chemicals maker Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] pacing the decliners, bourse data showed.

Cinkarna Celje's shares went down 1.64% to 24.0 euro in a turnover of 612,181 euro, LJSE data showed.

Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the highest single turnover among the blue chips on Tuesday - of 773,743 euro ($836,841). Its shares lost 0.85% to close at 117.0 euro.

At the other end, port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] led the blue-chip gainers, with shares rising 1.43% to 24.50 euro.

The blue-chip SBITOP index lost 0.50% and closed at 1,369.17 points on Monday. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, fell 0.50% to end at 1,841.08 points.

The bourse's daily trading turnover came in at 1.9 million euro on Tuesday, up from 1.7 million euro generated on Monday.
