Ljubljana airport passenger traffic declines 27% y/y in January

February 13 (SeeNews) - Passenger traffic at Slovenia's Ljubljana airport decreased 27.4% on the year to 75,196 in January, data by airport operator Fraport Group showed on Tuesday.

Aircraft takeoffs and landings at Ljubljana airport went down 28.5% on the year to 1,792 in the first month of 2023, while cargo traffic fell by 7.4% to 905 tonnes, according to figures published on the website of Germany's Fraport Group.

In 2023, passenger traffic at Ljubljana airport more than doubled to 1,270,382 from 970,152 in the previous year.
