“Due to the adaptation of the appearance of our store to the space in which we are located, the Lidl store in Sava Center will have an authentic and different interior from our other facilities, as well as a changed arrangement of product categories,” Jasmina Srndic, head of corporate communications at Lidl Serbia, was quoted as saying by media outlet eKapija.

Lidl opened its first supermarkets in Serbia in October 2018 and currently has 67 stores in the country. It also has two logistics centres - one in Nova Pazova and another one in Lapovo.

The Sava Centre is set to reopen following reconstruction on November 14 and has a total area of 100,000 square metres, including a 4,000-seat theatre hall, 15 conference halls, an exhibition area, restaurants, bars, offices, and shops.
