Lidl plans multiple store locations in Serbia’s Nis – municipality

October 4 (SeeNews) - German discounter Lidl has expressed interest in opening several stores in the Serbian city of Nis, the municipal authorities said on Thursday.

Lidl plans multiple store locations in Serbia’s Nis – municipality

Lidl officials held a meeting with city mayor Zoran Perisic after recently buying a land plot in Nis for the construction of a supermarket, the municipal authorities said in a statement.

According to the statement, Lidl has far bought land plots in Subotica, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad, Valjevo and has announced that the Novi Sad supermarket will be completed by the end of 2013.
