The retailer will also install solar photovoltaic systems at the store.

Earlier this month, Lidl Bulgaria said it plans to open eight to ten new stores this year, continuing its sustainable expansion.

Lidl is one of Europe's largest food retailers and operates in 31 countries. In Bulgaria, the chain has stores in 54 cities, with over 4,000 employees.
