LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 21 (SeeNews) – Slovenian pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Thursday, LJSE data showed.
Krka's shares closed at 70.8 euro, up 2.91%. The company generated the day’s largest trading turnover – of 2.37 million euro.
Earlier on Thursday, Krka said its consolidated net profit rose 42% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2019, reaching 171.9 million euro.
The bourse's total trading turnover rose to 3.05 million euro ($3.4 million) from 1.73 million euro on Wednesday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 893.52 points, up 1.06%.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] fell the most among the blue chips. The company’s shares closed 1.43% lower at 55.2 euro.
