Kosovo's ProCredit Bank’s net profit inches up in Q3

November 1 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s ProCredit Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Germany-based ProCredit Holding, recorded a 1% year-on-year increase in net profit in the third quarter of 2023 to 16.3 million euro ($16.8 million), from 16.1 million euro in the prior-year period.

ProCredit’s loan portfolio totalled 700 million euro at the end of September, up 8.2% on the year, the bank said in a data release published on its website earlier this week.

The bank's deposit portfolio rose by 11.2% to 888 million euro. Total assets increased to 1 billion euro as at end-September, from 955 million euro a year earlier.

ProCredit Bank was the fourth largest lender by assets among 11 banks that operated in Kosovo in the third quarter of 2023, according to data published by the Kosovo Banking Association.
