Kosovo's ProCredit Bank Q1 net profit up 14% y/y

May 15 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s ProCredit Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Germany-based ProCredit Holding, recorded a 14% year-on-year increase in net profit in the first quarter of 2024, to 6.7 million euro ($7.2 million).

ProCredit Bank’s loan portfolio totalled 787.9 million euro at the end of March, rising from 667.5 million euro a year earlier, the lender said in a data release earlier this week.

The bank's deposit portfolio expanded by 12.3% on the year in the first quarter, to 964.3 million euro. Total assets increased to 1.1 billion euro as at end-March, from 996 million euro a year earlier.

ProCredit Bank was the fourth largest lender by assets among 11 banks that operated in Kosovo in the first quarter of 2024, according to data published by the Kosovo Banking Association.
