June 27 (SeeNews) - The gross written premiums (GWPs) of insurance companies operating in Kosovo rose 15.1% year-on-year to 48.7 million euro ($51.5 million) in the January-May period, central bank data showed.
Kosovo insurers' net profit totalled 2.7 million euro at the end of May, up from 1.3 million euro a year earlier, according to data published by the central bank.
The assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to 249.6 million euro at the end of May, from 238.6 million euro at the end of 2021.
