Kosovo's gross power output rises 6.4% y/y in Dec

Thermal power plants produced 584.7 GWh of electricity, wind and solar plants generated 37.9 GWh, while hydro plants produced 43.2 GWh in December 2023, ASK said in a statement.

Kosovo was a net electricity importer in December, with net imports amounting to 416.7 GWh, up 17.5% on the year. Total electricity exports grew 2.16% on the year to 228.8 GWh.

Coal production amounted to 7,210 tonnes in December, down 1.45% from the prior-year period.
