Measured at current prices, Kosovo's GDP totalled 1.8 billion euro ($2.2 billion) in the July-September period, the Kosovo Agency of Statistics said in a statement last week.
The sectors that positively contributed to Kosovo's economic growth in the third quarter of 2020 were mining and quarrying, manufacturing, electricity, water supply, information and communication, real estate activities, arts, entertainment and recreation and other services, as well as public administration, education and health, professional and administrative activities, agriculture, forestry and fishing.
Kosovo's GDP grew 4.17% year-on-year in 2019, according to preliminary estimates.
Kosovo's central bank said in November it expects the country's GDP to decline about 7.2% in 2020 due to the restrictions on economic activity introduced in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
