On a monthly basis, Kosovo’s trade deficit increased by 3.6% in August, the statistics agency said in a report published on its website.
Year-on-year, exports dropped by 15.4% in August, while imports increased by 3.3%.
The European Union was Kosovo's main trading partner in August, accounting for 36.9% of Kosovo's exports and 39.7% of imports.
In August Kosovo exported mostly base metals and base metal products and imported mainly mineral products.
