Kosovo's 10-mo Gross Customs Revenue Rises 11.4% to 472 Mln Euro

The revenue was 1.3% above target, the customs service said on its website.

Kosovo targets to collect 583 million euro in customs revenue this year, up from 437.8 million euro last year.

In October alone the customs service collected 13.56 million euro, up from 12.87 million euro last year.

Kosovo, where 90% of the population is ethnic Albanian, declared its secession from Serbia in February, after almost nine years under the administration of the United Nations. Kosovo’s independence has been recognised by over 50 countries so far.
