Kosovo seeks advisor to help combat financial/economic crimes - TED

PRISTINA (Kosovo), October 2 (SeeNews) – Kosovo has tendered a 1.0 million euro ($1.3 million) advisory contract under a project that will support its institutions in combating financial and economic crime, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.

“The project purpose is to strengthen the Financial Intelligence Unit, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and law enforcement agencies in the effective enforcement of a harmonised and comprehensive legal and other regulatory framework to combat financial crime,” the procurement notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) indicated.

The implementation period is one year. The bidding deadline is November 5.

The contracting authority is the European Union, represented by the European Commission, on behalf of and for the account of the beneficiary country.
