More than half of Kosovo's jobless in August were women, the bank said in its monthly report, quoting figures from Kosovo's Employment Office.
In July the registered unemployed were 0.9% higher on the year.
Kosovo has a population of 2.1 million.

Kosovo, where 90% of the population is ethnic Albanian, declared its secession from Serbia in February, after almost nine years under the administration of the United Nations. Serbia, backed by its historical ally Russia, says it would never recognise Kosovo as an independent state. Fifty countries have recognised Kosovo’s independence so far.
