The outstanding loan portfolio of Kosovo's banks totalled 4.89 billion euro at the end of January, up 13% year-on-year, the central bank said in a monthly data release on Monday.
Deposits with Kosovo's banks rose by 8% on the year in January, reaching 6 billion euro.
The total assets of Kosovo's banking system increased by 10% on the year to 7.357 billion euro as at the end of January.
The figures comprise the financial results of eleven banks. Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo and NLB Banka were the largest among them in terms of assets by the end of the fourth quarter, according to Kosovo’s banking association.
