Kosovo banks' net profit rises 17.2% y/y in Oct

November 27 (SeeNews) - The net profit of Kosovo's banks increased to 141.1 million euro ($154 million) in October, from 120.3 million euro in the same month of 2022, the country's central bank said.

The outstanding loan portfolio of Kosovo's banks totalled 4.83 billion euro at the end of October, up 13.3% year-on-year, the central bank said in a monthly data release last week.

Deposits with Kosovo's banks rose by 11.1% on the year in October, reaching 5.9 billion euro.

Kosovo's banking system's total assets increased by 11% to 7.17 billion euro as at the end of October.

The figures comprise the financial results of eleven banks. Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo and NLB Banka were the largest among them in terms of assets by the end of the third quarter, according to Kosovo’s banking association.
