Kosovo awards road overhaul contracts to local tie-ups

November 22 (SeeNews) - Two Kosovo consortia won a tender for road asphalting in the central town of Drenas with contracts totalling around 446,000 euro ($409,079.15), the local authorities said in a contract notice on Wednesday.

A consortium between Fer Petroll and Drini Company won a 346,200-euro contract to pave suburban roads, Drenas municipality said in a contract notice.

A consortium comprising local construction companies Valdrini, Benita Company and Alfalt Group won a contract of some 100,000 euro for the expansion of a road in the town.

Both projects should be completed within 200 days from the signing of the contract, tender documents published earlier show.
