The subsidy amounts to 120 euro per family and an additional 30 euro for each family member. This means that a four-member family will receive a total of 240 euro in assistance, according to a media notice on the prime minister’s office website.
No application is needed to benefit from the subsidies as the disbursement of funds will be determined based on the beneficiary lists maintained by social centers.
The funds are part of EU’s energy emergency response package, which allocates a total of 75 million euro to Kosovo in 2023.
