KfW grants N. Macedonia 9.1 mln euro to expand Bogdanci wind farm

March 18 (SeeNews) - German state-owned development bank KfW will provide a 9.1 million euro ($9.9 million) grant to North Macedonia’s state-owned power producer Elektrani na Severna Makedonija (ESM) for the expansion of the Bogdanci wind farm, ESM said on Monday.

The project will expand the wind farm's capacity to 50 MW, incorporating the construction of access roads and a 20 kV cable network, ESM said in a Facebook post.

The Bogdanci wind farm currently operates with a capacity of 36.8 MW. It started operations in July 2015.
