February 15 (SeeNews) - The Croatian arm of Danish bedding and furniture retailer JYSK said it has invested 280,000 euro ($301,000) in a store in the town of Ivanic-Grad, in the north of the country, which opened on February 14.

The company is renting the retail space, JYSK Western Balkans communications manager Zvjezdana Sirk Novak told SeeNews in a statement late on Wednesday.

The new store, the company's 62nd in Croatia, spreads on more than 1,000 square metres and will have seven employees, JYSK Hrvatska said in a press release on Monday, without disclosing the value of its investment.

JYSK Hrvatska reported earlier that in the fiscal year 2022/23 ended on August 31 its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reached 21.36 million euro, up from 133 million kuna ($19 million/18 million euro) in the fiscal year 2021/2022.
