July Construction Output Monthly Drops in Romania, Slovenia Sharpest in EU - Eurostat

BUCHAREST (Romania), September 17 (SeeNews) – Construction output in Romania and Slovenia recorded the highest monthly decreases in July among all European Union member states, the bloc's statistics office reported on Thursday.

July Construction Output Monthly Drops in Romania, Slovenia Sharpest in EU - Eurostat

In Romania construction output dropped by a monthly 9.0% in July, while in Slovenia it fell by 4.6%, Eurostat said in a statement.

In Bulgaria, the output was down by a monthly 2.4% in July.

Construction output in the EU fell by 1.1% month-on-month in July. The sharpest growth was recorded in Poland, by 5.2%, followed by Sweden with 1.7% and Portugal with 0.2%.
