Japan’s Daido Metal Montenegrin unit turns to 9-mo profit

PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 22 (SeeNews) – The Montenegrin unit of Japanese bearings producer Daido Metal turned to a net profit of 677,435 euro ($867,505) in the first nine months of 2012 from a net loss of 847,388 euro a year earlier, company data showed.

Operating income rose to 7.1 million euro in the first nine months from 5.5 million a year earlier, while operating costs increased to 6.7 million euro from 6.1 million, the company's nine-month financial report sent to the Montenegrin Securities Commission (www.scmn.me) indicated.

The Japanese parent controls 99.33% of Daido Metal Kotor, according to the report.
