Japan Tobacco's Serbian Unit Starts Exports to Macedonia, Eyes Montenegro - Media

JTI Senta, located in the town of Senta in northern Serbia, will export cigarettes worth 500,000 euro to Macedonia this year, Danas reported. The company plans to export to Macedonia cigarettes worth 10 million euro next year. The daily did not say what the value of the planned company exports to Montenegro is.

JTI bought Serbian tobacco processing company Duvanska Industrija Senta for some $45 million in 2006 and renamed it to JTI Senta later. JTI Senta said last year it will invest some $100 million in expanding its production capacities and opening of new jobs.
