October 21 (SeeNews) - Japan has lifted its ban on import of poultry products from Bulgaria as of October 18, Bulgaria's Food Safety Agency said.
Japan banned poultry import from Bulgaria in 2017, amid a rise in bird flue outbreaks in the country, the Bulgarian government agency said in a press release.

After the situation improve, the Food Safety Agency immediately launched the formal process for lifting the temporary ban from Japan, the agency noted.
