Italy's Enel To Buy 13 Units of Danish-owned Global Wind Power Bulgaria - Anti-Trust Body

Enel Green Power Bulgaria, part of Italy's Enel group, will acquire 100% of each of the 13 companies set up to build and operate wind parks, the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) said in a statement.

CPC said it has invited interested parties to voice over the next seven days any anti-trust concerns that they may have regarding the deal.

Enel has two wind power projects in Bulgaria. The group, which owns coal-fired power plant Enel Maritsa East 3, has also expressed its interest in building solar parks in Bulgaria.
