"This [agreement] is yet another proof of our commitment to educate specialists in the Serb Republic, in cooperation with the Israeli experts, acting upon the assumption that already next year this industry will lack over a million professionals," the Serb member of Bosnia's tri-partite presidency, Milorad Dodik, said in a statement issued by the Serb Republic government earlier this week, after meeting with officials of the Israeli company.

Elta Systems develops, manufactures, integrates and supplies a wide-range of products, including advanced defense and intelligence electronics, such as sensors, radars, electronic warfare and communication systems.

The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Federation.
