BELGRADE (Serbia), November 13 (SeeNews) – Israeli property developer Big Central European Estates Group (Big CEE) said on Friday it is launching the construction of a 60 million euro ($89 million) retail park in Serbia’s northern town of Novi Sad.
“We believe that we are at the end of the economic crisis and that now it is the right time for investments,” the director of the company’s Serbian unit, Robert Jahav, said in a statement.
The 32,000 square metre retail park is part of Big Cee’s 500 million euro investment planned for the Balkan country, the statement said. The company has 10 retail parks in the pipeline across Serbia’s major cities.
The retail parks will be built on the outskirts of the cities, Jahav said in the statement.
